I’m putting my condo up for rent and moving back with my parents for a year to save a couple bucks. I’ve had so many applicants and finally found one that I like.

I got their credit check, license, pay stub and there were some red flags.

I tried looking up the address on their licence and the addresses on their credit report and they all lead to a storage facility mailbox or their workplace address.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a storage facility mailbox as an official address on a license and/or credit check.

Has anybody seen this before?

I was driving by Jane/Lawrence west yesterday and noticed a cargo van selling tons of tools out the back. They set up a display table in the parking lot of the closed Salvation Army store and had their doors open. This van must have had more power tools than a Home Depot.

Anybody know if this guy is always there?
How frowned upon is it to buy a potentially stolen tools? Not accusing the guy but I highly doubt he gets them from the manufacturer.
Can I get in trouble buying stuff from him?
Have you bought stuff from him?

I don’t need a lesson in ethics. FB marketplace isnt a better platform to buy stuff from just because they have a profile.
