Just moved over to a G19 Gen 5. I’m noticing a tiny bit of slide travel/shiver when the striker drops during dry fire practice.
My 43X was rock solid, so this caught me off guard. Is this just a "standard Glock tolerance" thing that I'm overthinking, or have any of you had this checked out and found an actual issue?
I currently run a Velo 5 with my 43X and it’s been great for me. I’m moving over to a Glock 19 and found a Velo 4 (basically new) for a solid price.
I know the Velo 5 has some updates, but for those with experience—are the differences noticeable enough to justify buying new, or is the Velo 4 still a solid option?
Appreciate any input, especially from people who’ve used both.
Hi, I’m thinking about getting an optic cut on a non-MOS Glock 19 Gen 5 (CCW).
I’m not from the US, and this is basically the best shop available locally. They can mill the slide and only blue the cut area where the optic sits (no full refinish) and say it’s “good enough.”
Anyone here run a setup like this?
How does that hold up over time (rust/wear)? Would you still try to get a full refinish?
