Ghana's new Evisa system is the DUMBEST I've seen in World

I know I'll get ridiculed with "but Western countries make it impossible for Ghanaians to get a visa!" but I don't care. The new evisa website is up and they are charging $260 for a TRANSIT visa. Just for a freaking transit visa. A tourist visa costs the same unless you want express processing for $442🤡. I've been to over 150 countries and I am fairly sure Ghana now has the most expensive tourist visa on planet Earth.

If the intention is to increase tourism this isn't going to do it. This is just fleecing foreigners. And for what? If I pay this money where is it going to go? Corruption most likely, not improving Ghana.

The irony is Ghana seems like it should be one of the most tourist friendly places in West Africa but instead it creates stupid visa policies like this. Sierra Leone, Guinea, and the Ivory Coast all charge $80-85 for a visa, Ghana should be doing the same instead of charging outrageous fees.
