My (33m) girlfriend (31F) has a family beach house she likes to go to every weekend during the summer. I enjoy going as well, but a big issue for me has been when we go we share a full size bed that’s from when she originally got the house (circa 2008). I’m a bigger guy with back issues and either I don’t sleep well or I wake up in a ton of pain.

I’ve asked her to talk to her parents about getting a new bed that I would pay for, but it doesn’t seem to be a priority for her or her parents (told her to start asking about it at the end of the summer). AITAH if I decide to not go because of the bed? I want to be down there but it just sucks for me and makes the weekend not relaxing. Also wonder if I’m overreacting a may be a bit spoiled.
