I’m currently in the 3rd year of my degree college, and after graduation I want to pursue a 3-year LLB. My goal is to get into a top law college, but I didn’t perform well in entrance exams (DU, NLU.)

I’m confused about whether I should join a private law school this year or take a drop for 1 year and prepare again for a top government college.

So I wanted to ask:

1. Is taking a 1-year drop worth it for getting into a top government college?

2. Which is generally better for law: government colleges or private schools?

3. Does college reputation really matter in the legal field, especially for litigation, corporate law, placements, and long-term career growth?

Honest advice from seniors and people working in this field would help a lot.
