Rhetoric Koemori
There’s a few things I wanted to talk abt this guy bc he’s kinda mysterious and cool. The hidden nature of his ability too intrigues me.
The first thing is abt his “genius” title he calls himself, despite having no fighting experience. I thought this was just him being arrogant at first but I did notice one weird thing. He calls Arulu kitty, and there’s that little panel of her with the cat ears then very quickly after we see her shadow manifestation also has cat ears, or at least pointy ones. This could suggest he’s got crazy intuition, but it could also just be a design coincidence or smth I’m reading too much into. Nonetheless I thought that was interesting.
I also am very curious on his ability. Before he attempts to show it off he grabs what looks like a pencil, if it’s any imagination or art based ability that would be SO COOL. I am especially excited to see it given that it was specifically hidden. Also the music notes on his clothes could just be artistic but it could also suggest a music ability of sorts bc we have seen choujin wearing clothes that match their ability, I believe Tokio had a belt at some point with a small crow skull.
But what do you guys think? Am I overthinking the first part? What might his ability be? I’m pretty sure the person clapping at the end was different from Koemori but they did look similar so idk.
