Looking to join a rec soccer league in the Twin Cities area
I haven’t played soccer since middle school and I’m wanting to join a chill soccer league and play some games in the summer/winter. Anyone looking for a midfielder/defender?

Are these unofficial promotion decisions final or will things change based on the year end finalization form? Also, anyone know when the official announcement for promotions (the promotion list email) will be shared by leadership?
Anyone heard from their counselor regarding promotions today?
With all the layoff news I keep on seeing online, I realized that Apple is the only big tech company that has never had a mass layoff. Is this true or are people not allowed to talk about it?

Like the title, I’m wondering if I should reach out to my counselor tomorrow to check if I got promoted or not? My understanding is that the counselors will receive the promotion and rating decisions this Wednesday.

Anyone know what areas are impacted by the layoffs this year? Is it across service lines? Any specific industry or area seeing getting hit more? Maybe this can be a thread to share your layoff add like level, service line, company?
It’s so sickening to hear grown adults glazing leadership. The corporate world is so disgusting. There’s so much bend your back and on your knees culture in America.
Recently been seeing a lot of posts of people getting laid off from EY. Any additional info on this? Seems like the firm is going through another mass layoff similar to last year.
I’m currently about two years into a non-accounting role at a Big 4 firm. Before this, I served in the military, and lately I’ve been feeling increasingly dissatisfied with the Big 4 career path.
I’ve been seriously considering applying for a commission in either the Air Force or Navy. The challenge is that my wife and I recently bought a house, and she’s thriving and actually enjoying her career here. Pursuing a military officer path would likely mean relocating and disrupting a situation that’s working well for her.
For those of you who have made Big 4 a long-term career, what keeps you motivated? Did you ever hit a point where you questioned whether it was the right fit? I’d be interested to hear how others have navigated similar crossroads.
