So I got the shot at the podiatrist and after about 3 hours the pain that I usually had came back. I didn't feel any of the pain in my heel for about 3 hours and then the pain came back. Does that mean I have tarsal tunnel syndrome? Or does that mean that the shot didn't do what it was supposed to do and just the local numbing word off. The podiatrist wants me to call back in the morning to tell her about the pain.

Not sure if that means I have it or what. I didn't really understand what she was looking for.
