Like the title says, this is an update to a prior post i made about getting a disconnected message in hideout for no apparent reason. After days of trying to research and attempt fixes, I finally found a fix for my issue.
During my research I found a few scattered quick mentions about IPv6 being a possible culprit but never followed up with any context or if it worked. I decided to try disabling it, this requires accessing router settings which I did through my hardwired pc, and disabling it from there. After that, the game booted and ran perfectly fine!
If anyone has insight to why this is, I would love to know since no other game ive played has ever needed this kind of fix. And if anyone else has a similar issue that they've been unable to fix, hopefully this could work for you too! My buddy and I had a blast finally playing pve after tons of time on pve tarkov.
