hi all, i applied for my husband’s TRV after receibging his AOR for the outland Pr spousal application. we applied on 23rd of sep, but here’s the thing.. I’m pregnant and expecting our first baby in two weeks. I was thinking if it’s worth emailing the local MP to try to expedite my husband’s trv application process so that he can make it here before the birth😢

is it a long shot and is it really worth it? does it affect the application negatively in anyway? anyone who’s done it - what are your thoughts?

I shouldnt be uploading anything here because it mentions employment letter from Canada employer. However, I dont see any option to delete this file. What do I do? I need to leave it blank..

Hello! Has anyone who was pregnant and in Canada applied for their husband for TRV after receiving the AOR for Outland PR Spousal Application? My husband had a refusal last year but our circumstances have changed massively since then. I used to stay with him in Dubai, but I have now permanently moved to Canada and am expecting my baby in October.

We applied for my husband’s Outland PR application on 23rd July and are waiting for the AOR, to apply for his TRV. What are his chances of getting the visa? Just want him to be here for the birth of our first child🫩

I applied gor my husband’s outland spousal PR about 4 weeks ago on July 23rd. I still haven’t received the AOR so I’m wondering if there is anyone else who submitted the application around the same time and got the AOR?

Also, is it wise to contact IRCC now or to wait it out?

Im applying for my husband’s outland PR and I’m a PR holder living in Canada. I got my PR in August 2023 and entered the country, however I had to leave back for Dubai as I had an ongoing job there. I was a resident in Dubai at that time as well. I just recently moved back to Canada a month ago to establish my PR and stay here for good.

1. My question is for “Spouse Trips” in the form IMM5562, should I mention going to Dubai as a trip? I’m a bit confused as I was a resident in both Dubai and Canada at the same time..

2. My second question is, for the IMM5532 form, my husband was rejected visit visa when we applied last year.. should I put his UCI of the old visit visa application in the new PR application? Or do I just leave it blank?

I’m trying to apply for my husband who is based in the Middle East for an outland PR, but as I’m pregnant, I will need to apply for his TRV after I get the AOR so that he can come here before my delivery (hopfully!).

I just wanted to know from you all, if anyone applied for their spouse’s outland PR, how long did it take to get the AOR? Did you try to apply for their TRV later? How long did that take?

I'm looking for advice regarding my husband's Temporary Resident Visa (visitor visa) application.

I'm a Canadian permanent resident currently living and working in Canada as a Data Analyst. I recently moved to Canada and started my new job, so I only have one pay stub so far. However, I do have an employment verification letter confirming my permanent full-time position and salary.

My husband is currently residing in the Middle East, where he has lived since birth. He would like to visit me in Canada for a temporary visit while we are apart. We are planning to apply for a visitor visa and are trying to build the strongest application possible.

Some details:
- I am a Canadian permanent resident.
- I have an employment letter and one pay stub plus my savings from my home country in my bank acc
- My husband lives and works in the Middle East.
- He does not currently hold a Canadian visitor visa.
- We are legally married.
- I am currently pregnant, which is one reason we would like him to visit during this time.

My main concern is proving that he will leave Canada at the end of his authorized stay. We understand that having a spouse in Canada can make officers concerned about immigration intent.

For those who have successfully obtained a visitor visa for a spouse:
- What evidence of ties to the Middle East did you provide?
- How strong does employment in the Middle East need to be?
- Would property ownership, bank statements, employer letters, approved leave, etc. help significantly?
- Is my employment letter and single pay stub likely sufficient from the inviter's side?
- Has anyone been approved in a similar situation where the Canadian spouse was pregnant?

Any advice, experiences, or suggestions on strengthening the application would be greatly appreciated.
