So I’m having an issue solving a problem. My civic had randomly stalled and would fire back up. I shot some started fluid and would get a small fire up but wouldn’t run.

I went ahead and replaced the pump. It had started just the one time after replacement. Drove it and when I turned it off, wouldn’t start back up again.

Now what I’ve found is that if I shot starter fluid into it and start it. After shooting starter fluid for about 5 seconds the engine will then stay on. But if I turn it off, it won’t start back up.

Anyone have any idea what the problem could be?
