Gf struggles to talk about her faith please help
For context we were both not really Christians when we started dating we were both very lukewarm and didn’t have a relationship with God just go to church on Christmas and easter with our families and stuff, I got saved about 6 months into our relationship and my life completely changed, she became a Christian because of me and my experiences, we are coming up on a year together now next week and I am just worried if her faith is true or if she just does it because of me. She reads her Bible she goes to church with me and does go by herself sometimes but she misses a lot of weeks, she does try to follow God but sometimes I feel like it’s because she knows that is what I want, I tell her that it’s a sin to get drunk and to judge people etc and she does try to do better and I can see that but I just don’t know if that’s because of her love for me or her love for God, my main reason I am concerned about this is because whenever we read the Bible together and I ask her what she thinks about something in the Bible she says that she doesn’t know or when I ask her her feelings or thoughts about her relationship with God she also says she dosent know, today we argued about this for the third time in the past month, I was pressing her about why she can’t have a conversation with me about God and If she really cares and said she just dosent know what to say, started crying and said she does care she just dosent know what to say, I apologized and consoled her cause she was crying but it is still bothering me, I don’t want this to drive a wedge between us and be a source of argument I just want to make sure she truly cares about and loves God and dosent just do this stuff because of me, I love her so much and I don’t know what to do, your advice would be greatly appreciated thank you for reading.
