Sooooo I have a baby who is about 5 months old. My mother is a wonderful grandmother, however she calls the baby by a nickname on occasion. The nickname is common for people with this name, however I cant stand the nickname and my husband does not like it either. Its fine whilst the baby is young I just do not want it to continue for their entire childhood. How do I explain this to my mum without being an AH.
