anyone joining TCS Ahmedabad on 21st May?

Hey everyone! 👋

Is anyone joining TCS Ahmedabad on 21st May? If yes, let's connect and figure out accommodation together!

Since we'll all be working at the same place, coordination won't be an issue at all - same shift timings, same location, makes things super easy.

The Plan:

If we get 4-6 people, we can split a nice 3 BHK and divide rent + utilities per head, making it affordable for everyone.

If more people are interested, we can form separate groups accordingly.

Why it makes sense:

✅ Same office location = easy coordination

✅ Shared rent = lighter on the pocket

✅ Ready-made flatmate group before Day 1

If you're interested, drop a comment or DM me! Let's get this sorted before joining date. 🙌

P.S. - Share this with anyone you know joining TCS Ahmedabad on the same date!

Since we'll all be working at the same place, coordination won't be an issue at all same shift timings, same location, makes things super easy.

**The Plan:**

- If we get 2/4/6 people, we can split a nice 1/2/3 BHK and divide rent + utilities per head, making it affordable for everyone.

- If more people are interested, we can form separate groups accordingly.

**Why it makes sense:**

✅ Same office location = easy coordination

Hey waitlist fam,

Just wanted to share my situation and hear from others in the same boat.

I received my OL on 13th October 2025, with DOJ on the 29th dec 2025. Unfortunately, I couldn’t join due to a death in my family, so my joining had to be postponed. Later, I got a call regarding my availability and confirmed I’d be ready by March. Since then… complete silence.

I’ve filled every rescheduling form, survey, JR form; everything that was asked. Recently received the standard mail after 3-4 follow up mail**“onboarding will happen in upcoming quarters based on business requirements”** update.

Meanwhile, I made some tough decisions. I resigned from a PSU (IT Infrastructure, Telecom & Networking role) because I genuinely want to move into development (I understand that getting a development role in Digital isn’t guaranteed, as the majority of candidates are assigned to support roles whether they are Digital or Prime) because development is where I actually want to be. Also turned down ICICI Bank, HCL Tech and 4-5 other offers that were around 4-5 LPA lesser than Digital package.

They are currently onboarding rehiring NQT25 rejected candidates and NQT 2026 freshers which is completely fine, no hate. But those who already hold active offer letters, responded to every call and filled every form should probably be prioritised first. That's all.

I want to be very clear this is not a hate post towards rehiring or the 2026 batch onboarding. That’s completely understandable from a business perspective.
But at the same time, it feels fair to say that candidates with active offer letters, who have responded to every communication and completed every step, could be given some priority.

Also, the notice period trap is real. If i join somewhere else and my JL comes the next day, you’re stuck in a difficult situation.

In my case I have a little leverage; back home, chilling, coding during the day and in the evening it's cricket in the nets. Practising my shots while waiting for that JL to drop, honestly not the worst situation. But this situation is not the same for everyone.

People have given up stable jobs, rejected multiple offers, put life on hold. Months of uncertainty like this genuinely leads people towards depression and anxiety. This kind of prolonged uncertainty can impact mental health and that’s something that deserves more attention.

Hoping everyone here gets their Joining Letter soon.

Would really like to hear your experienceshow many of you are still waiting?

Again No hate to my juniors from 2026 and fellow rehiring candidate just sharing honestly.

Hey waitlist fam,

Quick context first:

Got OL on 13th October 2025, DOJ was 29th but couldn't join due to death in family. Joining got postponed. Later received a call asking availability, told them I'd be ready by March. After that complete silence.

Meanwhile resigned from a PSU (IT Infrastructure, Telecom & Networking profile) because development is where I actually want to be. Also turned down ICICI Bank, HCL Tech and 4-5 other offers that were around 4-5 LPA lesser than Digital package.

Filled every rescheduling form, survey, JR survey; everything they asked. And today got the classic "upcoming quarter based on business requirements" mail.

They are currently rehiring NQT25 rejected candidates and onboarding NQT 2026 freshers which is completely fine, no hate. But those who already hold active offer letters, responded to every call and filled every form should probably be prioritised first. That's all.

Also the notice period trap is real. If you join somewhere else and JL drops tomorrow, you're stuck.

That part needs to be talked about more.

Hope everyone gets their JL soon.

We chose this, we waited, we responded. Our time should come.
