Hi all,

I was hoping for some advice. I am a native English speaker, born and raised in the United Kingdom, and I achieved A grades in my GCSE English language and literature.

I was wondering whether I need to do anything to have my GCSE English grades accepted as recognition that I am C1 in English? I am currently completing a self certification form for an English language master's course at Freie Universität Berlin, and I'm unsure whether to state that I have attained English proficiency at a level equivalent to C1, or to state that I have not however I am a native speaker.
