I am looking for a DR with escort, or “paid companionship” plot… age gap and power imbalance. Bonus for enigmatic MMC with mysterious backstory. Any recs would be appreciated! I hope this Ao3 author continues the story at some point because the trope has me in a chokehold!

Hey all! I binged an amazing Ao3 story about a group of college kids during the 1970s that went backpacking, ended up in a flash flood that had them resorting to finding refuge in a remote cult community in Appalachia. I can’t remember the name and believe it was a work in pogress and wanted to check to see if it has been updated since my last read. does anyone know the name or author?
