(NSFW tag just in case, even though the pics are tame)
To give my Samus figma some more height, I went with the Sozai-Chan L Size body from Hobby Base, as it seemed to be the most compatible with figma parts. The idea was to cut out some interchangeable outfits from cloth and put it on the base body, at some later point. Though the size gain seems insignificant when directly compared side-by-side with the original Zero Suit figma (14.3 cm vs 14.0 cm), bear in mind that 6-7 mm of the latter's height are owed to the heels, whereas the Sozai-Chan body is barefoot and would need some footwear.
However, I'm not sure if I want to stick with this base body, as the articulation on the knees and elbows is limited to just 90 degrees of movement. I was considering replacing them with the figure joint set from Hobby Base but after some loose fitting I'm not sure if they would look that good on the limb sockets. Does anyone else have experience with this base body? Could it still be salvaged or am I better off looking for another base body? Just bear in mind that I still want it to scale well with either of the armoured Samuses with around 15.0 cm being the maximum height I want to stick with for an unsuited figure.
