My employer has me hanging by a thread.
I work, full-time and even joined the union, but since January, my employer has been messing up my checks. They also have yet to implement the raise they said i was getting back in August. This is the second time in four months, that they've deposited half of the amount worked, and blamed it on the new payroll system. If it didn't take them so long to fix it it wouldn't be a big deal, but it takes them almost 2 months. Meanwhile, I've run out of food and have 80 cents in my account. They did give me gas, which was helpful until I got a flat tire only to find out that my spare had holes burnt into it. I'm not even sure what to do at this point, other than start looking for a new job, which I began to do today, when I saw they had still not paid. I'm eating once a day, if im lucky, and i have no local support network, as I just moved here. I've lost a lot this year, and my job is making things way harder, and I'm stuck. I'm hungry, my car's fucked, my rents due, and I can't even afford my therapist lol. Not sure what to do, and figured I might as well see what y'all think.
I have set up an Amazon list, and I have a cash app account. Im really bad at this. Bare with me
So, a weeks worth of food would be on the low end $75 , but I'd be more than satisfied with a pizza, at this point, and I threw together a wishlist
