teacher said it’s wrong but didn’t elaborate.

here’s the instructions:

Project Overview

You have recently bought your first home. You bargained for a low price, but it is going

to require a tremendous number of renovations. In this project, you are to calculate the

cost of these renovations. Your final product will be on the packet and must include all

of the following:

  1. Sketches of each geometric shape. Draw a picture of each window and door that

you use. (in other words, if you calculate the area of a shape, then draw a sketch

of it!)

  1. Calculations for the area and cost of each renovation of each on separate sheet of

paper in the answer packet. Show all formulas used and all substitution of

values for each sketch. Use calculators to check your work, but all work must be

shown. Label each unit in your answers throughout the process (yd2, rolls of

wallpaper, in2, tiles, ………)

  1. When using the same paint/carpet for multiple rooms, do not calculate each room

separately (it’s a waste of money). Included in the packet is a front summary page

for the price of each renovation. Give one final answer for the total cost of the

project.

HOUSE SPECS

Refer to your house's floor plan that will be given to you in class.

Dimensions on the floor plan are horizontal by vertical. All rooms are 8'

high except the living room, which has a ceiling height of 10 feet.

Remember that you cannot buy fractional parts of cans of paint, bags of

topsoil, or rolls of wallpaper. Carpet, flooring and cement must be

purchased to the next highest whole unit.

For the patio area I just to fill it with 4 inches deep of concrete but I need to find the base of it first

I’ve tried to find additional details but these are the only one I can find. I think I can find it as a rectangle minutes a triangle but i still can’t find the legs of that triangle . any hints?
