Life On Mars competes with the best songs ever written/ Recommendations for songs

Okay so I know this might seem like a basic post. BUT, I have loved this song for years and years and when I tried playing this on piano I found it extremely difficult but so beautiful at the same time. Holy, it transcends the barriers of a good/amazing song to one of the best of all time, every time I listen I cannot skip any part of it. The lyrics are so profound with meaning and beauty. The 2nd verse is absolutely heavenly, DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE VIDEO. This song brings me so much joy and I genuinely have no clue how he wrote it, he must've been possessed by otherworldly beings. Plus, I only listen to 38 Bowie songs so I know all the hits and some of the underground ones (e.g. afraid of Americans) I'm a big fan but can't seem to get past the barrier of top hits and the ones that have 80-90 million streams please recommend me what to listen to I want to get really into him! He's my 4th favourite artist of all time, for me he is the definition of creativity.

Unsure about what the ending will be

(Sorry if I come off as negative in this I just love the show 😭)

I feel obviously the ending everyone wants is for Nakamura and Hirose to get together but at this point in the show with how slow the pacing has been for Nakamura and Hirose's friendship I do not see this happening. I love the show a lot and since episode 1 I've been rooting for them but it is now episode 9 and Hirose and Nakamura have gotten little development as a partnership/couple thing in the last 3 episodes (episode 6 being the big friendship moment) to the point where I don't see the writers being able to make them a proper couple within 4 episodes without skipping months of the "in show" time. Especially when it is clear Hirose only really sees Nakamura as a friend and probably has not been questioning his feelings towards the same gender (maybe I have missed this but from what I have seen it is unlikely). The only way I really see them becoming a couple is if the show gets a season 2 which is highly unlikely due to there being no new volumes in 5 years and the author's controversy. The most likely ending I see is either them becoming good friends or Nakamura getting over his feelings for Hirose, or just maybe it will end with Nakamura confessing (which I see him getting rejected due to the fact that I believe Hirose would be completely unaware of this and caught off guard).

Please feel free to prove me wrong or inform me if I have missed anything (I also wanna state again I love the show and don't wanna seem like I am attacking it in anyway, I haven't read the manga so idrk how it will end, I don't mind spoilers, but I also would feel disappointed if they don't end up together) 😄

With The Beatles is an underrated album

I never used to be a fan of With The Beatles, I saw it as boring containing the sound of a dull old 40s record. But then I really gave it attention, I listened to it. Now, I'm grateful for turning it on as it has become one of my most favourable listening experiences. It captures the Early Beatles in all their glory, the quick hits with the most catchiest of melodies, the first hints of the beautiful so called soft-Paul tracks like 'Till There Was You', the powerful Lennon vocals, diverse George guitar work, and Ringo's interesting drumming. I know it is not as grandiose experimentally compared to something like Sgt Peppers or even MMT. Yet, it captures the essence of four guys writing music that they truly love and enjoy, which brings out an emotional honesty that is so unbelievably attracting.

You may not see it as underrated as, well I am posting this on the official Beatles reddit. But I don't think that it is really credited enough for its individuality and spirit. There may be some covers on there which you could argue that, maybe it isn't the greatest on bringing in the Beatles full sound and identity. However, the way they bring a new perspective and spin on these covers like 'You've Really Got A Hold On Me' ,(which makes me feel heavenly when those harmonies kick in with John's diverse range of the highs and lows in his vocals), makes it all the more reason to listen to. I do believe that it isn't talked about enough for paving the way for the Beatles' later singles as it shows their initial development into writing catchy ass melodies. PERSONALLY, I would rate it above Please Please Me and think it even gives Help a run for its money on crafting a unique aesthetic and world.

What do you think, all opinions are valid : )

Okay so my favourite Beatles song right now is 'Not A Second Time' and it is in that kinda style of an early Beatles song where it is fast, catchy, kinda niche-er then the main songs on the albums. The only other songs I can think of that fit this category are: It Won't Be Long, All I've Gotta Do, You've Really Gotta Hold On Me, Tell Me Why, I'll Be Back, Ask Me Why, and Anna (Go To Him).

(With The Beatles is the best album for these types of songs tbh)
(I just realised these mostly have John as lead vocalist)

These songs are the most fun to listen to for me, I LOVE the late Beatles work but for me the early rock and roll era Beatles is the most authentic.

Any Suggestions?
