Ok so 1st of all I am really glad that she feels confident enough to upload something again. This shows that everything the community has been doing (Comissions, fan events, petitions and a lot of noise and support) has actually reached them. This is perfect because that means we have a real voice and we are making a change

IT'S BEEN TWO MONTHS...

(Yes, I know I might be late for a few hours, but whatever)

So, today (yesterday) we've been blessed with a new extra chapter of the manga by Syundei, at the same time two months have passed since the anime's ending. This is great news, because it means the author hasn't quit creating.

However, due the risk that her figure might reignite the discussion about her harassment situation, her departure from social media and why it happened (which is also the reason the fandom have been more happy than normal about the upload), I wanted to share these valuable posts made by u/Rarehunter333 which explained in detail all of the context of the situation and why many people managed it wrongly.

If you don't know very much about what happened to her or if you already have a judgement about it, please, have an open mind and take time to read them, since they're a bit long. Still, they're worth the read. I wanted to seize the moment of hype and post this, mainly because the discussion about the series has lowered since the anime ended and these publications haven't reach as many people as they could've done.

I know that somebody else has already posted a translation, but I wanted to do my own take on it with very high-effort clean-up and such.

This might be a silly idea but do you think it would do anything?

So I used to be super big into kpop when I was in college, and one of the ways we helped support the group is by streaming the music. Streaming helped them chart which would help them win awards and such, it was a way we could actively support them. Fan accounts could buy like 500 streams of a song and then anyone who clicked the link could listen to it and it would count for a stream until those 500 were used up.

I’m wondering if we could take that concept for the new manga chapters? I can see that the new chapter is 60 coins, would getting as many people to buy the new chapters be a thing? Like I could start a group fund and then anyone who can’t afford to buy the chapter, I could send them enough money to buy the coins, and they screen record themselves buying the coins and using them to unlock the chapter (this is to make sure people don’t just take the money and not buy the chapter).

Would getting more people to buy the chapter on the manga website be a good way to support it?

I’m new to supporting an ongoing manga so I’m curious.
