Do spells make a client be indebted? Seeking general guidance.

When a client purchases spellwork from a practitioner (in general) does the client become indebted to the practitioners spirit team/deities? Is it true that as the client, by ordering spellwork, it forms a contract between the client and any spirit used?

This is so low

So we all know job hunting sucks for many different reasons, but even for me, this was the lowest that has happened so far.

I applied for a medical patient coordinator (front desk) job back in May for a doctors office with 2 doctors. I ended up having a phone interview and it went great, the doctor invited me for a in person interview first week of June.

For context I have law firm front desk experience, but not medical. They said it was okay for me not to have medical experience that I’d get trained, so on so forth. I go to the in person “interview” that was more of the doctors role playing customer service scenarios to see how I would react. They said it went great and I agree, and at the end, they ask if I’m interviewing at other places. All I said was I hadn’t accepted any other job offers and then they said they’d have a decision made by the end of June.

Here’s the part that was low. Mid-June they emailed me and asked if I was still interested in the job AND for the second time, ask me if I was interviewing elsewhere AND if I had accepted a job offer elsewhere. I said I was interested and had not accepted an offer elsewhere.

Fast forward to last week they emailed me about their decision. They chose another candidate and they told me it came down to the other candidate already having medical experience.

This was messed up right? Wanting me to be available to them and them wanting my loyalty so to speak and telling me it was okay I didn’t have medical experience, only to tell me by email they chose someone with medical experience? What bothers me the most was how they wanted my loyalty without giving me an offer, only to end up not hiring me.

Why have I only gotten hired by this group of people?

28F. Looking back at my work history, I have only been offered a job when the person interviewing me was a man. When I’ve had interviews done by a woman or a panel of women, I never receive a job offer. Last week, I had an interview at an elementary school by a panel of three women. I just heard today, I did not get the job.

Why could this be the case?

I’ve been deconstructing from my catholic faith for 4 years now and last year was the first year I could finally say “I am no longer religious and I don’t identify with any organized religion”. I left organized religion for a couple reasons like the bible feels contradictory at times, not agreeing with certain teachings, not finding it fulfilling and this one that is specific to me…..I was SA’d and realized I cannot worship a god who would let such an evil act like that happen to anyone.

Since I’ve been deconstructing, I’ve found myself to be spiritual and looking into witchcraft. From what I’ve seen, it looks like for a lot of practitioners, witchcraft and deity worship has helped them on their healing journey.

With all the chaos and evil going on in the world, how do you have faith in your deity/deities? Do you think they can prevent or stop evil from happening?
