16 month old post-vacation troubles
Looking for the advice/support on 16 month old's sleep woes.
Some back story:
We (mom, dad, toddler) went on vacation for mother's Day. Toddler slept great and took great naps during our trip, however, he had to sleep in bed with us. Once we got home, as soon as we lay him down for bedtime and shut the door he will stand up and scream until he's sweaty and hysterical.
We tried letting him cry it out, but it lasted about an hour both nights with him not sleeping. We eventually resorted to sitting in a chair and he will go to sleep. He wakes up looking for us during the night and we've repeated the chair sitting, which is not sustainable.
Schedule is 6/5.5
Open to schedule adjustments, training methods, anything really! We sleep trained with FIO around 8 months successfully until this hiccup. It's been a week since our trip.
