2006 R50 Harmon Kardon system Cd player error?
Hello, I’ve owned my R50 base cooper for about 4 months now. Have had absolutely no problems with my radio until now. I’ve consistently used my cd player for months and all of the sudden it stopped working. It does not auto detect disk being inserted. Whenever I press eject on the cd player the radio says “Cd Player Error”. I Can press eject, let it cycle through it trying to remove a disk, then it will start to insert another disk. It will bring a disk almost all the way in. With a part of it still sticking out. Then will spin the disk while still sticking out, and auto eject the disk. Is there anything i can do to fix it? I’ve done the battery disconnect for 15 mins and didn’t help the car out. I have also not attempted to take apart the cd player and fix it yet. I didn’t really find anything while researching this problem. If anyone has had this issue happen or have any idea on what the problem is any help would be appreciated! Thank you so much!
