Question about Episode 666
Hey everyone,
I just joined this subreddit in the hope that you might be able to help me. I'm currently writing a paper on the “Danger Things” sequence from the THoH episode 666. My paper focuses on how *The Simpsons* create intertextual references between *Stranger Things* and *Danger Things*. I’m analyzing the episode right now and am stuck on the comic book seller’s line:
“It seems like someone hasn’t seen very much of season three,” after Lisa says, “Oh my god, it’s a twisted version of reality.” I’m not entirely sure what the comic book seller is referring to. I mean, sure, the Upside-Down is a wormhole, but that isn’t revealed until later in the series, and Lisa is basically right, isn’t she? If any of you have seen both the Simpsons episode and *Stranger Things*, I’d really appreciate an explanation!
