I recently got diagnosed with ADHD after knowing I had it most of my life. I was put on 18mg LA Concerta for mornings and since I work nights half the week I was also given 10mg IR Ritalin. The first day on meds was pretty great I felt calm, quiet, and “normal”, but since then (about a week) I feel weird whenever they kick in, Especially with the nighttime Ritalin. Kinda like a dizzy/lightheaded but also out of body feeling. My vision changes and I feel a little sick and my body feels weird. I have struggled with derealization from anxiety before so I know the sensation but im curious if this is a side effect anyone else has experienced, and did it stop after getting used to the sensation of meds? Is this concerning enough I should bring up to my doctor or should I just tough it out and see if it’s an adjustment period thing?
