Job and pregnancy

Hi guys! I am a full time worker, and my job requires me to be out on construction sites. It does not require any heavy lifting or anything. I take measurements and am an account manager so most of my time is in the office or briefly at job sites . Earlier this year my job offered to relocate me to a different state to help with the projects in that area and I took it. Before moving I gave them a notice I was already 4 months pregnant, i didn’t have to but did out of my generosity so we could come up with a plan and be prepared. Upon to their surprisal they were not happy. Since have been relocated and settled in I have been doing my job as instructed but they are worried about my position for while I will be out for maternity leave and asked me to make a plan for who and how my work will be covered for when I come back. I asked up front if they will fire me and They said that if the coverage and plan I come up with is not sufficient enough they will have to come up with arrangements. To me it sounds like whether they will fire me or not if things do not go well while my absence. This of course has caused a lot of worry as me and my husband cannot just live off of his paychecks. And this also sounds very wrong of the company.
I’ve come to terms that if they fire me we will figure out a plan and I will find a different job. It’s very sad to see the way that companies look at pregnancy and having a baby as a problem. I apologize for this being long, i wanted to write on jere to see if anyone else have gone through a similar situation and see peoples thoughts.
