AWD 3 3000 Mapping Issue Developed
I bought an AWD 3000 a few months ago. In general terms, it's been great. My lawns are under 3000m but I got caught out with the channel adding to the quantified area which means that ultimately, I can't map my entire area. My workaround has been to delete one large area and map a different one every week or so - slightly annoying, but it's a ten minute job every week.
This was working fine until the recent update and since then, mapping new areas had become a nightmare. As always, I start from a current lawn, drive to the new lawn, it maps the channel, then says it's scanning the new area. After a minute or so, the scanning fails for some reason; the channel I've just created to the new area disappears and the message pops up again saying 'go to new lawn'. It gets stuck in this endless cycle and won't map the new area. I've tried deleting the app, turning off the mower and removing the key, cleaning the sensors etc. Nothing works. I just have to keep trying over and over again until eventually it works. This can take 30 minutes of repeating the same stuff, constant failures, before it then gets past the scanning phase and allows me to map the new area.
Has anyone else come across this sort of issue or am I unique (like my wife says I am)!!?!
