An Endless Pursuit
It's romantic how we're always in pursuit,
Chasing after the what ifs and unknowns,
A helpless desire ingrained in our roots,
Endlessly searching for what God holds.
So, capture this feeling that holds us true
Not letting our emotion go against the fold,
We climb the mountain to embrace the view,
To mindlessly test the strength of our souls.
So, let's fade away as the wind meets the moon, As we submerge ourselves in the midnight hue, Counting our wishes in the stars we swoon,
Always on the hunt for life's next clue.
