The doctor I'm working with just bought one of these GoNoob cameras, so we decided to try it on our car during an intervention.

Back in an ETK for this one, I'm not gonna lie I prefer the cherriers but they're still amazing cars to work with. We were called this time of an old lady who fainted and fell on the sidewalk while going out for groceries. Nothing too serious this time, more fear than pain as we say here, but she was still brought to the hospital later for routine checks.

I'm sorry for the low framerate of the video, we had some troubles with the settings of the camera and this was by far the best quality we got. We're probably doing something wrong but hey, we're paramedics, not cameramans afterall.

The camera came with a whole setup to put it pretty much anywhere you can think of, shoot out to GoNoob for that, it's easier to place than we tought. We sticked it to the door because we tought the angle was cool, let me know what you think of it !

The new service cars are here !

The 3 cars we were waiting for finally arrived, it was about time.

These three cars are here to replace our two Gavril Roamers and to reinforce our capacities. As the only hospital in the sector we must have a modern, fast and important fleet. The two Vivaces are brand new, the ETK was transferred to us from another hospital which had to reduce it's fleet because of a lack of personel, so this one didn't cost us anything, which is good news since we now have to by a new ambulance, or at least what we can find because we're desesperatly in lack of newer van models.

You might wonder why we need to replace those two Roamers, since they don't look like they're about to break down on the spot. Well, the thing is, they are big and heavy, and quite slow, don't get me wrong, I love them, but they're not suitable for efficient paramedic work, at least here, in france, with small and sharp country roads and small towns for exemple, we need something that is not only practical, but also fast and agile. And for that, the Vivaces and 800-Series are just the best.

Now we're not going to send the Roamers straight to the junkyard, we will probably sell them, as we still need to gather money for that ambulance. I'm thinking about buying one of them for me, as a project. For the other one, if someone is intrested, just say it in the comments and I'll tell it to the boss. They have seen a lot of things, and they're pretty high on the odometer, but they have been well maintained and taken care of, so it might be a good deal. I don't know the price for one of them yet but it probably wont be very high.

I guess we're going to need a new ambulance too now..

That's the thing a lot of first responders fears the most, getting dispatched on a crash implying some of your colleagues or / and familly members. And that's why happened to us today.

One of our ambulances was going to a construction site to help a worker that fell down the stairs, the crew was, as usual, composed of the driver, a doctor and a nurse. Exept this time, to make the thing even worse, the nurse in question is Alice, my girlfriend, who just joined the emergency service a week ago.

On thier way to the intervention, the ambulace was cut off by an old man, half blind and deaf, in his pessima who didn't ear the sirens. The ambulance driver couldn't do anything to avoid him. They rammed into his car at full speed which caused them to go off course and then slammed head on into a Bruckell Bastion that was comming on the oppisite direction with a familly of four on board.

Miraculously the old man was untouched, so was my girlfiend who was sitting in the back of the ambulance, thankfully she got out with only a few bruises, I've never been more scared in my life. The driver and doctor however, were seriously wounded, especially the doctor who was sitting on the passenger side, they both got out with a couple of broken bones. As for the familly in the Bastion, both parents were also injured, the kids in the back were left physically unharmed as well.

This was also probably the wrost timing, as the service already spent a lot of money to buy two new Cherrier Vivaces S Asenic wagons and one ETK 800 to renew the fleet. So our finances are already very limited, but now we have to buy a new ambulance as well. We've got a second one, but a single ambulance is definetly not enough. Add to this that we now also have one less doctor and one less driver during at least a few months.

This is a hard one for us, as we're the only hospital in this sector, things will not be easy in the upcomming months. The only good news is that the new cars should arrive anytime soon, which means that we will soon be able to retire our two old roamers and sell them to help funding the new ambulance. I was considering buying one for myself as a project, My brother has one and I always loved it. What do you think?

So my friend who's one of the officers that were chsing the robbers just sent me the footage of the crash, it's not the full chase, because it apparently lasted 30 minutes but we can see how hard the accident was. These guys were wanted since a few days now for robbing a bank in a city near here, they were spotted by a patrol car while trying to join the airport, all the money they robbed was in the back of thier car.

This is probably the most violent crash I've ever seen, a crew of bank robbers was being chased by a Gendarmerie pursuit unit today. They went through a city at high speed and took a bump so fast that thier modified ETK 900 was sent flying into a wall. The impact was so violent that two mens were killed instantly, the car's wreck then rolled down a small street.

The two officers that were chasing the robbers quickly pulled them out of the car and tried to save the two that were still breathing, however, one passed away a few minutes later. We were quickly dispatched on scene alongside a team of firefighters. The last robber alive was then transported to the hospital but is still in a very critical condition. The 3 other's bodies were evacuated by the coroners.

I've talked to one of the officers who were chasing them, which is actually a close friend of mine, and apparently the crash was very violent and shocking. He told me that they caught everything on thier car's dashcam, I saw the footage and yeah I can understand why the robbers were in such a bad state when we arrived. He will send me the footage and I'll share it with y'all tomorow one I get it.
