[Urgent] Need advice after foot fracture + issues getting follow-up care

I went to urgent care at Carbon Health after hurting my foot and found out I have a fracture in my foot. They basically only gave me a small boot that doesn’t even fit properly and referred me to a podiatrist that turns out isn’t even in my insurance network.

I’ve been calling around trying to find an in-network podiatrist and the earliest appointments I’m finding are months away. I’m stressed because I don’t know if my foot is being properly stabilized in the meantime and I can barely get around.

Has anyone dealt with this before? What should I do next? Should I try an orthopedic urgent care, go back to urgent care for a better boot, contact insurance for help finding someone sooner, or even go to Highland Hospital? Any advice would really help. Note: I have a Anthem Blue Cross/ Blue Shield and its a EPO plan.
