Is it possible to car camp in Denver without going to far out of city limits? I want ti be far enough away from the sketchy but close enough where I can enjoy the city like and not have a 2 hour drive through the mountains to camp out
I’ve done plenty of camping and some backpacking but I’m looking to try bike packing first the first time. Anywhere with cool views or near some water where I can fish and swim? I figured if I’m on my bike it will open up more opportunities for better camping spots. Let me know what you think
Driving through and probably going to spend the weekend in CO. I like transition/bank to curbs/any unc level obstacles but I skate everything.
Headed to California tomorrow! Here’s my rav 4 camping setup. Thank you guys for all the awesome advice in my first post. That was my first time using Reddit and I was overwhelmed by all of the people who cared enough to give me their 2 cents. Feel free to give me some more tips and pointers !
Last night I posted all of my coins asking if I should take them to the bank or look through them. (Silly question for the coin collecting subreddit) how do I go about finding the ones worth something?
I’m almost 24, been growing this out for over a month and I’m frustrated. Tips?
Should I look through all of these to see if any of them are worth more than their original value or just roll them up and save my time.
Professional trespassing pond hopper here. I’m driving from Tennessee to San Francisco and then making my way down the coast to San Diego. All I’ve ever fished for is your classic southern stuff. Large mouth, catfish, bluegill, ect. Any advice of what I gear/tackle I will need? I’ll be living out of my car and in a budget so I’d like to keep it light and versatile.
I’m starting In San Francisco and ending in San Diego. What skate spots and parks are a must.
I’m taking my 2011 rav 4 from Tennessee to California and plan to live out of it for about a month and a half. Any tips?
Main concerns are car troubles, break ins, parking tickets, and the heat.
My first long roadtrip by myself. I recently graduated college and have wanted to live the “nomad life” for at least a short time so decided now would be a good time. I plan on leaving in a couple days but I have no set date or time. I want to make it to California from Tennessee in about it a week or so. My parents have been putting not so great thoughts in my head for different reasons. My mom is worried about my dying and my dad thinks I’m stupid for blowing all my money to travel.
Any advice on things to do or see on the way there? Or tips for living out of your car for a first timer?
