2009 Acura TSX 2.4 (CU2)
One day when driving I saw a medium sized cloud of smoke, I got out to check and smell it and it was refrigerant. 2 days after that my compressor started to make a really horrible like grinding noise. I paid it no mind because the AC would still be cold. 1 day after I noticed the noise I came out to a completely dead car, I had to get inside using the actual key and jump start it. I did a parasitic draw and found out it’s the Ac Compressor/Ac Fuse relay, I have unplugged the connector to the compressor and now the vehicle is not dead in the morning after sitting over night. I know I have to change the ac compressor and the relay but should I also replace anything else? You guys think the system is now contaminated with metal shavings? Should I replace condenser, expansion valve, and flush out lines? Any help is appreciated
