Nuwave titanium induction question

I got mine today from amazon (https://a.co/d/0aMb8QRC) and did a quick test boiling 4 cups of water, and I noticed something.

When I set it to High, which was recommended in the manual for boiling water, the heating process was smooth and took about 5 to 5 min 10s to reach boiling temperature.

However, when I set it to Sear, about 2 minutes before reaching boiling temperature, the machine's fan kept cycling off and on. The probe still showed the temperature increasing. The final result was about 6 minutes, which was slower.

Is it normal? Can anyone help explaining?

Hey, we just found out our Kenmore fridge has a huge ice block causing rust and corrosion on the back. Apparently, this is a known issue of frigidaire and kenmore, and a lot of people are dealing with this.

Does anyone know a brand that doesn't have this problem? The one we have is 36" long x 70" tall x 33" deep.
