How do I respond?
Ok, so, I'm talking with a girl I know thinks I'm attractive (our friend in common told me and I think she's great as well). So she webt in my dms, and right before I asked her out she did ! (First time it ever happened to me btw). So anyway, we talk a little more and I use this "😘" and she's like "I don't know if this is because you are french or you're flirting" so of course I say "it's the latter" (at this point I thought I screwed up so I turned down the flirting). And then she says "maybe hold off on that :)". My question is, what does this mean ? Like i'm going too fast ? Or is this a "i'm not interested" ? And how do I reply to this without being weird ? I know how to take rejection but if she asks to slow down, I genuinely have no idea of what I could just say. Thanks for reading me !
