[FR] Revolut refusing to reopen account – anyone experienced this?

Hi,

I’m trying to understand a situation with Revolut and would appreciate any insights.

Back in November 2024, I had an issue with the RevPoints feature (rounding up transactions), which I didn’t fully understand at the time. I requested a refund and then closed my account shortly after.

Now, I’d like to open a new account again, but all my attempts are automatically rejected. I contacted support and even filed a formal complaint, but I received a response saying my profile is considered “too high risk” without further explanation.

I’ve never had any fraud issues, no suspicious activity, and my previous account was closed voluntarily.
Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Were you eventually able to reopen an account after some time?
