I found human ashes in the river while magnet fishing.

I had lost my magnet in the river, so about two weeks later I came back and scuba dived to look for it. While searching, I found a box containing human ashes. I had no idea what they were at first.
My dad works at a funeral home, so I did some digging and eventually tracked down the family.
I found out the husband had accidentally dropped the ashes in the river while he was supposed to spread them. He thought they were gone for good.
Turns out, I found them exactly one year to the day of her death.
Pretty crazy that I lost a magnet and ended up finding something that someone thought was gone forever

Look at these guns 😆

Anyone have any idea what kind of guns these might be? I found them in the river while metal detecting with my Minelab and using my magnet. I actually found two guns, and I think I know what the revolver below it is. The crazy part is, this gun was actually connected to a pot because it had been underwater for so long that a thick concretion had formed around it! It was an absolutely crazy find.

Metal detecting question!

Hey everyone, quick question! Does anyone bring their metal detector with them when getting off at the ports? I know some places don’t allow metal detecting, and if it’s going to be a hassle, I’d rather just leave it at home. I’ve seen people metal detecting on Carnival in the past, so I just want to make sure I know where you can and can’t use one before I bring my $1,700 detector. 😂 Definitely don’t want it getting confiscated!
Thanks!

Found this metal detecting in the river!!

Found this Blickensderfer No. 7 typewriter while scuba diving in the Etowah River in Rome, GA! 🤯 Dating from 1897–1916, this thing could be over 100 years old and was completely covered in rock and river sediment.

Found this metal detecting in the river what is it?

I have no idea what this is if it’s actually a piece of history or just a decoration. But the strap is what really throws me off. I found it in the Etowah River in Georgia.
