F10 535i Serpentine Belt Shredding

I have a 2014 BMW 535i xdrive. I was driving to the gym yesterday and noticed my power steering went out on the road. I got a notification saying charging malfunction. I pulled over to see what was happening and didn’t notice anything. Major. I drove home which was an 8 minute drive and immediately powered off. In the time home, I didn’t get an oil warning or anything. I turned the car off and opened the hood and found a piece of my serpentine belt at the front near the top. I asked my friend to come over and he noted the entire thing was gone. The image provided shows how much I saw at the top. The rest is completely gone with only a small amount still on the line. When I listened to the idle, I didn’t hear knocking or anything but the idle was rough and sounded like something was squeaking. No loud or apparent knocking though. My biggest fear is the belt forcing its away around the crankshaft and into the main seal because I can’t find the remains of the rest of the serpentine belt at all. What are the odds of that happening.
