Brake mechanic error what should I do.

So I took my 2019 BMW X5 in for a brake fluid flush and when I picked the car up everything seemed fine but as I drove it further I felt a pulsing "vibration" in the front end so I stopped the car at the first parking lot. I felt the rear tire/wheel and it was cool as a cucumber but the left front was very hot with some smoke coming out from around the lug nut area. I called the mechanic and he offered to come to me and look. I pulled into a shady area and turned the wheel so I could better see behind it and the mechanic had left a clamp on the brake line. He apologized and has offered to take the car in and double check it all and resurface both front brakes. He took the clamp off and I drove around it seems fine now but omg it was hot as fuck when I stopped to call him.

Should I go have another mechanic look at it or do you guys think its fine and will be okay? This mechanic has been around forever and seems pretty trustworthy.
