Hey y’all,

I’m new to this activism stuff, but as an African American in the US (Atl to be precise), I think it’s about time we showed Congress that they aren’t just going to roll us back to Jim Crow without a fight. Dismantling almost 400 plus years of hard work, blood, sweat, and tears from our ancestors is UNACCEPTABLE. And I’m tired of sitting on the sidelines and suffering.

I want to organize a take it to the streets type of meetup where we make posters, go door to door, and just spread awareness of what is ACTUALLY going on right now. Because believe it or not a lot of people AREN’T aware of what’s happening, or they are believing the lies where people are downplaying the events taking place (Roe V Wade, Voting Rights Act, talk about gutting 14 amendment, etc.)

I want to start making flyers and spread them around the Atlanta area.. I also want to organize a meetup so I can get others to help put up signs, spread the word, etc. Anyone living in the Atlanta area have any ideas or want to get involved?
