What did you learn from the anime Seishun Buta Yarou?

couple of weeks ago, I finished the first season and day later watched the first movie. Cried all night and couldn't bring myself together the day after. Today I noticed that the anime has quite a few valuable lessons (to me at least).

I consider myself a very kind person but after watching the anime I understood that I should be kinder. Not in a sense of just being "kinder" but rather showing the already existing kindness more often to the outside world. I have a problem that I am usually afraid of helping since I almost always think about "what others would think" and that is a second valuable lesson for me to care less about what others might think and care more about people I care about. The third thing would be difficult to explain without spoilers tho.

So did anybody here learn or take something valuable with them after watching or while watching the anime?

They are kinda crappy in terms of function tho
Currently they are broken but I want to repair them and improve perhaps.

Am I the only one who gets sad when it comes to human evolution in paleontology?

I would like to know if I am the only one who gets sad when it gets to Quaternary in paleontology related videos, books etc.

Every time I go through older periods of Earth's history I get amazed and in general just "happy" to find about new to me lifeforms or to just I revisit already known to me lifeforms that once lived on this beautiful planet but the moment it comes to Quaternary it reminds me of every awful thing humanity has done to ancient ecosystems that evolved for hundreds of millions of years, went extinct, changed but in the end still brought life to Earth. All the "living fossils" that go extinct now due to many industrial processes, all the old-growth forests that cease to exist and the plastic pollution that creates an almost "indestructible" layer of human activity that doesn't fit or help in any ecosystem. And what annoys me quite often are comments from people saying "future scientists will have problems studying our generation" like no, if we just continue to kill the ONLY planet we have there won't be any scientists to study us let alone animals in the future that won't go extinct only if a miracle happens.

Thanks for reading this because I had this in mind for a long time and never managed to somehow get the words together and share it. I'm sorry if this post is not fiting for the community so I am ready that it might get taken down.

Found Pacific Rim Breach Wars on an old IPad

I decided to charge an old IPad that I have used as a child and go through AppStore downloads to just feel the nostalgia of the games I used to play. There I found pacific rim breach wars that I used to play in 2018 I think? Unfortunately, after logging into Apple ID that was needed to download any games, it simply disappeared. This time forever.

Question about paleontology theory in Gojira 1954 and its correctness

Scene from the movie

In Gojira 1954 there is a character that is a paleontology professor. He tries to explain the origin of Godzilla and while doing that he mentions that Jurassic period was 2 million years ago(!) and that during the Cretaceous, marine reptiles began to emerge from the water and settled on land, therefore becoming the ancestors of modern reptiles. I would like to know if this is an actuall theory that was prominent in the 1950's and what reasons were there for its existence. Or perhaps if it's made up just for the sake of the movie.

Thanks in advance.
