Definately feel like Johnny‘s Seeds knew what they were doing when they bred Shimmer Celosia & Linen Zinnias. They go perfect together!
First year growing 20th Ave Memory! I love how she glows 💜

Can’t wait until she is full of blooms!

I bought this “cornel bronze“ from a local dahlia farmer. Its about 3 ft tall and the blooms around probably 3.5”. Based on my research, the petals don’t seem too oval and it’s blooms have lots of open centers. I‘ve grown cornel before and it was a much tighter ball shaped bloom. Let me know what your think!
Varieties: Zinnias (Ballerina & Aurora), Dahlias (Valley Tawny, Rose Toscano, Coralie, Koko Puff, & Lakeview Peach Fuzz), Salmon Rose Scabiosa, Choice Mix Strawflower, Feverfew, Paradise Coneflower, Gomphrena (Raspberry Cream & QIS Orange), Shimmer Celosia, & Pastel Mix Statice.
Anyone in the Pacific Northwest having lots of bug pressure on their dahlias this season? I’m about 4 weeks into applying a weekly molasses foliar spray and the bugs haven’t let up. I’m mostly seeing cucumber beetles and earwigs, but the foliage on some of my plants also indicate thrips too 😑
Varieties: White Lite Procut Sunflower, Salmon Rose Scabiosa, Coralie Dahlia, Appleblossom Dahlia & Feverfew
Coralie
Appleblossom
Cornel Bronze
Koko Puff
Wine-Eyed Jill
Feverfew, Cornel Bronze Dahlia, Lakeview Peach Fuzz Dahlia, & Choice Mix Strawflower
This is my first year growing Kelgai Ann and she is simply elegant! Sadly, I‘ve been battling some bug pressure (thrips & earwigs 🙄)
My Lavender Campanula and Feverfew got a second flush (but with short stems), so I decided to scavenge my garden to make a mini bouquet 💐
Loving Lakeview Peach Fuzz! Such a prolific plant with so many blooms with long stems!
This is my first year growing a collarette and I’m obsessed! They are so cheerful!
Variety: Alpen Cherub
I’ve been dealing with rust in my snapdragon bed. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with their snaps rebounding or recovering from the rust? I water my beds with a hose and the bed is in partial sun so I think that is why they have rust. I was going to defoliate the rusty leaves and cut them back, hoping they will will get a second flush that is less rusty. Also, I’ll be sure the soil dries out between watering. Any tips are appreciated :)
