Any speculation on surprises before earnings?

I thought the news yesterday was one of the best things to ever happen to the company. How can I be confident holding shares long term when the best news only gets 5%. Are there any other potential catalysts? Or we just wait and watch share value slide until next earnings report?

I always seem to make a deposit around $200 then get it to $1000-2000. Then withdrawal it but it takes so long so I end up canceling and losing the money. Anyone got any techniques to protect yourself from that? This happens over and over to me
