One More Day, One More Mask.

I use this title for my mask posts all the time. Unfortunately, people keep stealing my photos and reposting them from throwaway accounts. Those accounts usually disappear after a day or two, but new ones keep showing up.

Anyway, here's an actual new mask, posted by the person who made it.

A few days ago I posted a photo of this mask here, and several people were convinced it was AI-generated.

The funny thing is that it's a real wearable mask that I made by hand. My profile contains photos of many of my other masks, as well as videos showing parts of my creative process, yet some people still assume this image was generated by AI.

So now I'm genuinely curious: what exactly creates that impression?

Is it the lighting, the photography, the amount of detail, the paintwork, or something else entirely?

I'd love to hear your honest first impressions.
