GBA audio static with NextUI

I have the TrimUI Brick and a Hammer. When playing GBA games using the mGBA core on NextUI, the audio is terrible on both consoles. I'm not referring to the bad, compressed GBA audio, but rather a static / white noise sound with distortion. I don't have this issue on any other device that emulates GBA with mGBA. The same issue happens with headphones, so it's not the speakers themselves. Also, this only happens with GBA games, no other systems have this issue.

Has anyone else encountered this and found a solution? It makes GBA games unplayable for me.

Help with low B12 and muscle fatigue

Hey everyone. I am a 38 year old male. I've always been an avid runner, able to go run 5 miles at a time, even high elevation routes, and it was never a true struggle.

About a year ago, I suddenly started getting burnt out very fast, mainly muscle fatigue in my thighs, when doing simple things like going up the stairs, or squatting down to pick something up. Running was definitely difficult on any route that wasn't fully flat. It wasn't a general, constant fatigue feeling, but rather feeling like my muscles were getting burnt out very fast. I'd recover pretty quickly after getting to the top of the stairs, however.

I went to the doctor and had labs done. No thyroid issues, no iron issues, but my B12 was at 260, and D was at 42. The doctor ordered a 1,000 mcg/mL injection for B12, and told me to supplement with D3 as well.

After a week or so, my energy came back and I no longer got tired going upstairs and running became easier. About two weeks after that, however, the muscle fatigue came back, exact same symptoms as before. I didn't know they had scheduled me for a set of monthly injections, so I missed the next one, and ended up doing it later, about 2 months after the first. I followed up with a third about a month after that, and continued taking D3. No improvement. All this happened between November 2025 and February 2026.

Note: I had been eating a low carb diet for a while before getting the injection, and started eating more around the time I got the first, so that muddies things a little.

I went back to have my labs done yesterday. B12 was at 260 again, D was at 48 (D didn't concern my doctor)

She ordered monthly injections again. I'll make sure I don't space them out like I did before. I know 260 isn't super low, but it's not optimal.

I'm eating fine now, nothing that should be causing these issues. I'm hoping the injections will help, but I don't want to get my hopes up. Has anyone been in a similar situation? What worked / didn't work for you? Thanks.

UPDATE: The doctor didn't seem to think I have an absorption issue, but I don't know what else it could be. She also didn't want me to do a loading dose. I think I'll do this first injection, then if it makes me feel better, great. If it doesn't, or the effects taper off, I'll bring it up and see if she'll order it more often.
