How the hell do I get 3 floating nearby slots. Im on classic and a level 34 true kin consol. At this point im pretty god like I have a walking army of clones. 32 grams of cloning drought. Ive duped till and im walking around in full zeta chrome. How tough is the moon stair?
So I found this relic and ive never seen one like this before (650 hours) was hoping to get advice on when and where to use it? Seems like it could potentially be pretty powerful in the right circumstances.
He better be a good kicker/biter ....either way im not sure what to do with him. How does he eat and drink? Can I fashion up a Dwarven prosthetic made of gneiss or microcline. I feel like anything metal grade would eventually rust which im surprised isnt an actual mechanic yet given how deep everything else is. Could have a "oiler" position to repair any rust or what not.

As the text says this just happened. This has been an extremely interesting playthrough so far. Ive lost about 150 brave souls perish defending the fortress of "The Cold of Beers" in an on going war with the goblin civilization "the demons of slaying" ive murdered about 4 or 5 hundred goblins now over the course of about 5 sieges. I had a message pop up about "after talking with some locals queen whats her name has become.the new queen of your civilization" only about a year later I had personally named a dwarf "Fung-Tuck" who was captured during a raid or so I thought he was legendary and clad in all steel but somehow he is now the king of my civilization. Did he escape captivity off screen. Does that happen! It shows him as traveling on my noble screen. Either way this has been an awesome playthrough I cant wait to check out legends mode. (I dont know how to do that without retiring my fort, and I dont wanna do that until it's either conquered or ive eliminated all enemies) and for some stupid reason I do not use dfhack but I do have it installed
So like the title says....I attacked a dark goblin fortress (population 20) but apparently during world gen or something they made that the fucking goblin monster zoo and I just found out. Lost my whole badass killing machine squad. There are 5 imprisoned that somehow survived....and I would very much like to rescue them against all odds. Any suggestions? I have another 2 full squad thats trained but they are my guards and fortress marks dwarfs for when we are seiged. And my world has rare mineral deposits and I havent even cracked a cavern open yet....my idea is to raid other sites after pretty much enlisting every possible dwarf into the military until they are all fully trained and armored raid other small sites to get my own cave dragons or what not and then go back for the final break out to save these brave legends. Any suggestions would be great!! Ive never seen such numbers of such scary beasts! They must die!!!!!!!!
So I was wondering what was killing my dwarfs so rapidly. I think its this goddamn eerie soot. I went from 50 pops to 28 instantly with no clue why. im in a sinister biome and all but 1 of my original dwarfs are dead. this snapshot ive recovered from. I currently have 99 pops but only 12 actual dwarfs and the rest a mix of mostly humans a couple elves and like 10 goblins. I only accept the most well behaved not easily stressed into my fort unless they are a consort of some kind. this has been really challenging so far I have 50 coffins filled with all who have perished and a small ragtag band of steel armored defenders (4 total) and I have 3 marksman. its been 5 years and im a barony now and have yet to be raided....
it hasn't even begun yet.
