Rate increase to RxOM?

Is there a standard rate increase to go from senior tech to RxOM? I had thought it was 8% (like it it was from tech to senior tech), but apparently that isn't the case because I was just offered barely ONE HALF of 1%, a 13 cent pay raise to go from senior tech to RxOM.

I'm REALLY hoping that was a mistake because frankly 13 cents is insulting. I've been a senior tech for four years and was trained by our previous RxOM with the expectation I'd be taking over when she left, so it's not as though I don't know what I'm doing. If I had the access and was allowed to do it, she had me doing it.

Changes to 2D Scan Rate?

Has anyone else noticed a pretty significant decrease in their 2D scan rates starting about 2 weeks ago? Historically, our store has been in the 98+% for 2D scans until 2 weeks ago, when there was a SHARP and very definite decline and now we're barely hitting 90%. None of us has changed the way we scan, so they must have changed something in the algorithm. We'd really like to pinpoint the change so we can fix it. Anyone h above any insites?
