Hello stucco experts.
In the photo you can see a texture/color coat that was applied on top of weld crete glue. It is severely checked/cracked like alligator skin and the glue is visible in the cracks.
Contractor wants to fix it by fog coating. Realistically, how thick is the fog coat?
What is the correct fix?

I need some stucco advice and would really appreciate any guidance for this project:
This house has old stucco, with latex that was scraped to remove loose crumbling texture. Larsen weld crete was applied very thick, then a color texture coat on top.
The texture is crazing everywhere into alligator skin with the blue weld crete visible in the cracks.
Contractor finished this work today and wants to fog coat it next week.
What should I really do? One option is Tex-cote coolwall coating, which might be ok since the texture is adhered… I do not really know what to do, but the goal is to have it be weatherproof and long lasting.
What’s the best thing? What are acceptable options?
