Pixel Artists: Let's start something new

Greetings.

Some of you might have heard of the "place pixel art on a world map" site wplace.live. Well, there's a new kid in town called bplace.art that does pretty much the same. But since its kinda pretty new, theres still tons of space no one claimed. So here's our chance as a community to leave our mark.

also calling out to r/monoseries

I laid out the starting foundation: https://bplace.art/?pixel=1181718,526486

Damn, I wished I found this out earlier.

Literally NOT after almost about finishing the game and 70 hours in.

Some QoL features that you would like to see.

For me I'd love to see the following implemented into the came.

  • a real PAUSE menu, that actually PAUSES the game. I had to get up from the game yesterday for some time and just pressed "Pause". Just to come vack like 40 minutes later, noticing I died of starvation in the mean time. On a far away island without a set spawn point.

  • growing boxes need to be stackable in the inventory for gods sake.

  • You should be able to move and relocate already placed items without to need to tear them down first every time. That's especially a headache with crates that already have stuff in them.

  • things dropped on the ground need a pick-up input. It's really annoying when you drop shit to temporarily clear the inventory. And automatically pick up everything again just because you are close enough. If a lot of items are flockef together on a pile, there should be an inventory like screen, so you don't need to play lottery to pick up the item you want.

  • speaking of crates. First we need bigger ones. With like 30 to 50 inventory slots. And there should be specific raw material crates, that can be linked to the work benches.

  • ground based elements, that are not fundaments need a toggable snapping function. Looking at you, fences and growing boxes

  • water tanks, pumps and working sinks with faucets would be nice.

Do furniture & decoration have any practical use?

Yes, I know, this game is categorized as a "cozy survival game. But aside the mild danger of "dying" from hunger (or falling off a cliff for achievements) the "survival" aspect has no real impact on the game. I also understand, that people simply enjoy building and decorating for the fun of it.

But aside from that, what is even the real point of creating furniture and decorative, when they otherwise have no practical use? I feel like, I am somewhere around 50 or 60% of the crafting progression. But I think besides building a bed and a stove, furniture and dekoratives are kind of a waste of materials? Or what am I missing?

So, nothing new from "Summer Games Fest"

Now, this years "Summer Game Fest"and all the adjacent showcases - so basically all those shocases that meant to inherit the spirit of the old E3 - have ended. But sadly nothing new to be heard over "Shantae 7". Or any other from WF for that matter. The "only hope" we still might have is the rumored Nintendo Direct that should be happening soon too, but as of today no confirmed date.

What do you guys think, when will the dry spell finally end? In theory we also have the GamesCom around August. Or, but less likely, the Tokyo Games Show in September.

I just wondered we hardly have seen that in the series...

I just somehow had that random thought, that we so far we have never really seen Yamada really having been hit on in public. Either casual or in a "nanpa" way. That term, for those unaware, refers to a specific, more aggressive or determined form of hitting up on someone. Especially since she is an upcoming model and part-time actress.

I know, so far Sakurai-sensei has not used to many typical - and often worn-out - romance genre tropes. And I am thankful for that. But I just wondered, why we in the series have hardly seen that. Well, except for the one Senpai who tried, of course. As far as I can remember ad hoc. In the back of my head, I am not sure, if we had one other occasion in the Kamakura beach house arc, but I can't check rn.

Hello everyone. Since I got my Densha de Go P&P last year, I am occasionally playing it every now and then. I always had a quastion, that I never asked anywhere on the net or googled it until a couple of minutes ago. So Id like to have some feedback from actual people who play the game.

So, as you know (when you have played DdG Final) different route diagrams have 3 sub-sections. the one ob the right is always locked by default - in this case the Ikebukuro to Oosaki one.

Now Google said basically, I need to achieve certain results on the previous two sub-sections. Okay, now is that so?

Because on the same answer Google said something about achieving S-Ranks. Which is weird, because the game does not rank you like this when you are finished. I know "Yamanote-sen" uses that typical letter based grade ranking. But not final.

so my question is basically. What are the requirements to unlock those locked sub-sections? because the game does not tell me any pre-requirements.
