Architecture portfolio formatting
I'm planning on applying to the architecture master's program. Among the required application documentation, I need to provide a portfolio, explained simply as "max. 15 pages in DIN A3 format, folded" (original German: "max. 15 Seiten in DIN A3 Format, gefaltet").
Can anyone explain what this actually means? Does this mean a booklet of 15 A4 pages? Or does it refer to the industry standard I'm familiar with - 15 one-sided A3 sheets, alongside a designed front cover and transparent cover upon that, alongside a hard cover in the back, all bound in a spiral with the sheets themselves being folded to the left to shape into an A4 format.
I want to get this right, so I'd be very grateful if someone with more experience in standard technical presentation in Austria could chip in. Thank you!
